How I opened my heart to more of everything…

This little love bug is Pippin. She has taught me a lot in the 12 years that she has lived with us. Like any mom, I would do anything I could to help her thrive. That mindset started my journey to explore supportive modalities to help her with her anxiety. Witnessing how both of us responded to those modalities taught me that the ability to heal and to communicate is is a two-way street and how we interact with that energy can benefit everyone.

We were referred to an animal communicator to make sure we were supporting Pippin in all of the ways she needed. It was wonderful to confirm what we already knew and the small adjustments to how I managed my energy - the energy that I unknowingly sent to her when I reacted to her anxiety trigger sounds - helped both of us. The added benefit was that I received an invitation to attend an upcoming class to learn animal communication. I have now studied with two different amazing animal communicators, Polly Klein, who was the communicator that helped us, and Helen Davita. They both taught me to stay open and to trust all of the senses that an animal uses to communicate (seeing, hearing, knowing, sensing, feeling). The humans who guided me were a great starting place, but ultimately my best teachers have been the animals that I’ve worked with.
